PUBLIC SUBMISSION

Advocating for local financing options in New Brunswick

ORGANIZATIONS HAVE SIGNED ON

The New Brunswick government is undertaking a consultation process to update and improve the province’s relationship with municipalities. Check out their Green Paper on Local Governance Reform to learn more about the goals and timeline for the process. There’s a great opportunity to improve local communities’ abilities to create good jobs, increase home comfort, address climate change, and reduce home energy costs through energy efficiency financing. Read through the briefing paper below which outlines the opportunity, and how we can unlock this potential. Though the briefing note was submitted to the province as part of their Local Governance Reform consultation on May 31st, we want to continue to build support and demonstrate to the province that there is widespread interest in local energy efficiency financing.

Virtual Information Session on Local Clean Energy Financing
