#DiscoverEE: Women as levers of change for energy efficiency

Webinar on July 17, 2020

Foreign Policy Analytics reported in March that companies with improved gender diversity on boards from 2013 through 2018 were 60 percent more likely than those without to reduce the intensity of energy consumption.

Interviewees in the study describe how women are leading their organizations down new revenue-generating paths, advancing innovation in inertia-prone industries, and increasing transparency to build stakeholder trust.

As our industry and our world experience significant change right now, we will explore why increasing gender diversity, equity and inclusion is critical to the success of Canada’s energy management sector and how you can get started.

Presenters:

  • Isabel Schmidt, Foreign Policy
  • Megan Bennet, StepUp
  • Natalie Irwin, Efficiency Canada
