SUMMARY:Toronto Meeting on the Economics of Climate Change
DESCRIPTION:The 2026 Toronto Meeting on the Economics of Climate Change (TMEC) will take place from June 24-26\, 2026 at the University of Toronto. \nThe meeting provides a forum for scholars from economics and other fields whose work concerns the economics of climate change. \nThe organizing committee are Stephan Heblich\, Christoph Semken\, and Jeffrey Sun. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTMEC provides a stable forum for researchers at the intersection of economics and climate change. Continued opportunities for recognition and collaboration are indispensable to the advancement of our understanding of the economic aspects of climate impacts and policies. \nThe conference will feature keynote addresses by Solomon Hsiang (Stanford University) and Joseph S. Shapiro (UC Berkeley) in addition to approximately 45 presentations of current work by leading scholars.
