2050: Net-Zero Carbon Nova Scotia
Webinar on July 16, 2021Nova Scotia has committed to be net zero carbon emissions by 2050. While the province has achieved significant reductions in greenhouse gas emissions since 2005, and is a leader in Canada, there is no single action that will get us to net zero by 2050.
Given the challenge to achieve net zero, EfficiencyOne, in collaboration with Ralph Torrie, has authored a White Paper that explores the technological and related challenges and opportunities inherent in achieving a steep decline in greenhouse gas emissions and also identifies strategies to get to net zero.
This session will explore those strategic actions and pathways to achieving net zero in Nova Scotia..
