Reviewing Ontario’s long-term energy planning framework

Ontario’s Ministry of Energy, Northern Development and Mines (ENDM) is seeking input on how to refocus the current long-term energy planning process to enable a better use of resources and increase benefits to customers.

A Long Term Energy Plan (LTEP) can help create an energy system that works in the long run. By setting comprehensive system-wide goals and working out how to achieve them, we can ensure that our short term decisions match our long term interests. By submitting feedback, the energy efficiency community can help Ontario design an LTEP process that meets the meets the needs of the sector and our customers.

Submit your comments to the Ministry of Energy, Mines and North Development in three simple steps

1. Read the request for comments from the Ministry: https://ero.ontario.ca/notice/019-3007

2. Review the suggested comments found in the below letter. Be sure to make any desired edits to the letter before completing step three.

3. Enter your first and last name, email address, and postal code to the boxes found below and hit send.

Note: Stay on topic, and keep your comments cordial. If your submission is anonymous (no identifying information besides an organization name, though even this is optional) it may go on the public registry for this file.
