Reviewing Ontario’s long-term energy planning framework
Ontario’s Ministry of Energy, Northern Development and Mines (ENDM) is seeking input on how to refocus the current long-term energy planning process to enable a better use of resources and increase benefits to customers.
A Long Term Energy Plan (LTEP) can help create an energy system that works in the long run. By setting comprehensive system-wide goals and working out how to achieve them, we can ensure that our short term decisions match our long term interests. By submitting feedback, the energy efficiency community can help Ontario design an LTEP process that meets the meets the needs of the sector and our customers.
