Key report findings

Industry accounts for approximately 35 per cent of final energy demand and 40 per cent of total greenhouse gas w(GHG) emissions in Canada.

Oil and gas and heavy industry need to cut emissions by 68 and 20 megatonnes, respectively, for Canada to hit its goal of net-zero by 2050.

Implementing Energy Management Systems provides environmental, societal, and economic benefits for industry in Canada.
