Citizens’ Energy Forum
This year’s Forum will focus on the conditions necessary to turn the policy ambition set out by the Citizens Energy Package into reality on the ground for citizens, cities and communities.
The Forum will bring together a wide range of local stakeholders, including NGOs, cities, energy communities, energy agencies, consumer associations, businesses, and citizens. A particular accent will be given on enhancing cooperation between stakeholders and exploring practical implementation approaches at the local level, identifying obstacles, enabling conditions and opportunities. The event will put focus on experiences and solutions from across Europe and from regions that are particularly impacted by the energy transition.
The event will be in presence, but also web streamed, with the possibility for the onsite and online audience to engage through the interactive tool Sli.do polls, stakeholder testimonies, hands-on informative and inspiring examples of citizen empowerment actions, as well as lively discussions in break out groups.
Back-to-back with the Forum, there will a closed-door Regulatory Roundtable on energy policy for consumers with the key stakeholders at EU level and representatives of EU countries and Energy Regulators on 2nd October 2026.
Registration will open shortly.
