The Glebe Community Association’s Environment Committee is hosting a Tour of Heat Pumps in the Glebe on Saturday, May 10, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. This event offers Ottawa residents a chance to visit homes with installed heat pumps, learn from homeowners’ experiences, and get answers to their questions about heat pump technology, installation, and incentives. Attendees will tour different home types—from row houses to multi-unit buildings—featuring various heat pump models. The tour runs from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., with a guided or self-guided option. It concludes with a Q&A session at the Glebe Community Centre from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m., where experts from Electrify613, EnviroCentre, and Hydro Ottawa will address installation tips, rebates, and the future of electrification. Registration is required via Eventbrite, and space for the Q&A session is limited to 75 attendees.
