CACEA member Stephen Magneron will lead this 2-half day program, providing a deep understanding of the existing home audit process. He will share practical, “boots on the ground” guidance; identify potential modelling challenges; and highlight other information to support the services provided by existing home EAs to homeowners and other stakeholders. Registration includes 2 virtual 4xhour training sessions and a digital “Retrofit Refresh Handbook”. CHBA Net Zero Renovator Training for Renovators and Contractors

The City of Toronto will host Better Built Homes - CHBA Net Zero Renovator Training series for design-build professionals in Ontario who service in Greater Toronto Area in Fall 2023 and Winter 2024. The Better Built Homes series, presented by EnerQuality, highlights the latest approaches to net zero/net zero-ready renovations focused on ensuring customer comfort and satisfaction. Attendees will review net zero/ready design principles, equipment options, emerging technologies, and construction practices and learn to identify the performance gap between “existing” homes and new net zero homes. The course content will be delivered via a live webinar format by qualified trainers. This course reflects the advancements in technology and innovations in the Canadian housing industry. Participants will receive training materials and support documents, including the CHBA Net Zero Builder Manual, that may be used online, downloaded, saved, or printed for future reference.
