Greener Homes Retrofits: Ramp-up, or Fade Away?

GHGs from Canada’s housing sector have been declining, albeit very slowly. Acceleration is needed. While the Greener Homes Grants program is currently slated to close applications in March, there are many voices expressing both concerns and need for the program. Kai Millyard from Green Communities Canada will explore the findings of their newest report, Retrofitting Canada’s Homes: Progress Report #1, outlining the first years of the Greener Homes Grants program – its successes, and where it should improve, along with overseas examples Canada should learn from, to make the case for its recapitalization and continued success.
